1. Look at pictures of people using manners and practice what you see
2. Teach the sign language for “please” and “thank you” and discuss when to use these words
3. Practice sharing with others
4. Practice the appropriate way to sneeze
5. Puppet Play demonstrating manners
6. Teach a specific manners. If you want your child to say, “It’s nice to meet you,” when meeting an adult, for example, you should demonstrate exactly how to do that.
7. Talk about raising your hand when it's your turn. Practice during morning lesson plan review.

Teaching Concepts for Distance Learning
1. Make an ABC/123 Sensory Bin
Take letter shapes, scrabble tiles, letter puzzle pieces, etc. and bury them in a sensory bin. You can use any fillers such as rice or sand. Set up a letter wash with warm, soapy water and foam or plastic letters. Alternatively, you can us numbers too.
