Our hands stay on our own body. (No hitting)
Our feet walk inside and run outside.

Teaching Concepts for Small Groups
Color sorting with Tweezers. Sorting objects by color is a fun and effective method to improve fine motor skills and practice sorting by attributes. To make sorting more engaging and work on color recognition, you can use crayon color cards with your students. Just add some tweezers and your favorite loose parts to these fine motor tubs, and your students will have a blast sorting objects by color. Instead of pom poms, you can also use counting bears, mini erasers, links, or any other small objects you prefer.
Tear Art Craft. Making tear art is a fantastic way to improve fine motor skills. Let your students’ creativity flow by tearing up some colorful pieces of paper and then gluing them to make their unique craft. This activity is a great way to use up your leftover paper scraps. Your students will have so much fun ripping and gluing the paper to create their own masterpieces. Plus, this activity is wonderful for building those finger muscles needed for writing.
Shape Stamping with paint.
First-day self-portrait- A first day of preschool self-portrait is a great way to celebrate and makes a wonderful keepsake that parents will love. Ask children to draw a picture of themselves on the first day of preschool.
