1. Look at pictures of a jungle using magnifying glass talk about what you see
2. Look at pictures of animals that live in the jungle as well as types of plants, etc
3. Look at pictures of where the jungle animals live (in a tree, hole in the ground, nests and types of nests, etc)
4. Decorate vests cut out of brown paper bags
5. Color and decorate a paper plate, draw a spiral on plate then cut on line to make a snake
6. Snake tracks (run yarn, no longer than 12inches, through paint or sand)
7. Tiger stripes (let children glue black strips of paper onto orange paper), count the stripes
8. Paint an egg carton green to look like a crocodile
9. Make a jungle mask with paper plate
10. Turn the rainstick up and down, listen to the sounds

A little monkey likes to do just the same as you and you:
When you stand up very tall, Monkey stands up very tall.
When you go to throw a ball, Monkey goes to throw a ball.
When you try to touch your toes, Monkey tries to touch his toes.
When you wrinkle up your nose, Monkey wrinkles up his nose.
When you jump up in the air, Monkey jumps up in the air.
When you sit back on the floor, Monkey sits back on the floor.
